The Central Victorian Rural Women’s Network core values are for rural and regional women to be Connected, provided with Opportunity and be Empowered.
Throughout the year this network partners with organisations and communities, or provides activities and projects which align to these values.
Past Projects and Activities
Delivered by Community Leadership Loddon Murray and the Central Victorian Rural Women’s Network – with funding support from FRRR-Gardiner Foundation and the Hugh DT Williamson Foundation, ‘Women Celebrating Dairy’ was a day for women who are connected to or are working in the dairy industry, providing them with the opportunity to focus on themselves through personal professional and creative development.
The North Central CMA and Project Platypus were pleased to provide Chicks in the Sticks on Sunday 10th September 2017 at Walkers Lake in the glorious cropping country of the Avon Plains (between St Arnaud and Donald).
A terrific initiative of the North Central Catchment Management Authority, Chicks in
the Sticks is a rural women’s event that brings together the themes of sustainable agriculture, environmental restoration, community activism and networking.
The Central Victorian Rural Women’s Network assisted on the night.
