The Central Victorian Rural Women’s Network core values are for rural and regional women to be Connected, provided with Opportunity and be Empowered.
Throughout the year this network partners with organisations and communities, or provides activities and projects which align to these values.
Current Projects and Activities
Delivered by Community Leadership Loddon Murray and the Central Victorian Rural Women’s Network – with funding support from FRRR-Gardiner Foundation and the Hugh DT Williamson Foundation, ‘Women Celebrating Dairy’ is a day for women who are connected to or are working in the dairy industry, providing them with the opportunity to focus on themselves through personal professional and creative development. Come join us on Friday 13th October, 9:30am-2:45pm in Yarrawalla.
The North Central CMA and Project Platypus are pleased to be providing Chicks in the Sticks on Sunday 10th September 2017 at Walkers Lake in the glorious cropping country of the Avon Plains (between St Arnaud and Donald).
Past Projects and Activities
The Central Victorian Rural Women’s Network in partnership with Wild, Wacky, Wonderful Women offered a full day workshop called ‘Simplify Your Life’ on Saturday 19th August at the Redesdale Recreation Reserve Community Hall.
A terrific initiative of the North Central Catchment Management Authority, Chicks in
the Sticks is a rural women’s event that brings together the themes of sustainable agriculture, environmental restoration, community activism and networking.
