Who Should Apply?

We look for ‘can do’ people who are already, or would like to become more proactive members of their community or industry.  Some may already be on their leadership path, others may not consider themselves ‘leaders’ but will demonstrate leadership qualities:  ie:  See something that needs to be done, learn how to get involved constructively, and take a lead in making a difference.

We recruit for diversity – we try to offer the opportunity each year to a balanced and diverse group of people from all walks of life, all ages (from 18 up), representing a broad range of industries including business, agriculture, health and community services, education, government and volunteerism.

The diversity and existing skills of the participants is one of the rich learning opportunities of the program.

Fees and Expectations

All applicants are required to pay a $150 (including GST) personal participation fee at the time of accepting their offer to take up a place within the program.

There is an expectation that all participants will attend a minimum of 80% of program days in order to graduate.
